Aston Villa Special Issue Programme for 150 Years
Paine Proffitt has painted a special piece depicting the most played fixture as the FA Commemorates 150 Years. Aston Villa played Everton on 25th October 2013 on the anniversary and to commemorate the anniversary a special programme cover using the vintage style artwork by Paine Proffitt was used and promoted by the club. Special interviews and images from the Villa vault formed the special issue as social networks were jammed as fans raced to share the iconic image. On Saturday 25th October 2013 The English Football Association celebrated their 150 year anniversary.
Paine Proffitt Gets Royal Approval
Football artist Paine Proffitt spent some time chatting to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales on a recent visit to Vale turf. Paine was part a welcoming to The Prince on a recent visit to Barewall, Stoke on Trent. Showing off some of his latest artwork including some of the pieces that have been featured on the Port Vale programme covers at Vale Park during the promotional season. The Prince took a special interest in the artwork, with his son a strong Villa fan he took the brochure of Paine's work firmly in his grip.
